National Family Caregivers Month 2009

This November, help family caregivers learn how to SpeakUp! for themselves and their loved ones. NFCA is once again hosting a national TeleClass/Webinar for family caregivers. This year's event is entitled Safe & Sound: How to Prevent Medication Mishaps. The class will be held on Thursday, November 12th from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Eastern Time. NFCA has designed special educational kits to support this event and any other activities you plan as part of your NFC Month celebration. Check out our "10 Ways to Celebrate" for new ideas.

And don't forget to SpeakUp! for health care reform that will improve the health and well being of family caregivers and their loved ones. We can all Speak Up! every day in ways large and small.
